Boundaries” is quite the buzz word right now.

You hear people talking about their boundaries more casually today than ever before. But do you really understand what boundaries are?

Do you feel guilty about saying no to people? Do you walk away from a conversation with a friend feeling worn down and anxious? Are you afraid that if you set a boundary with someone, they would no longer want to be part of your life? These are all subtle ways that unhealthy boundaries make us suffer and feel miserable.

I was honored to be featured on a lovely, local podcast called The Big Life where Lina, Ingrid and I take a deep dive into what boundaries are, how to understand yours and real ways to improve them.

Check it out:

Our responsibility is to communicate our boundaries to others in a clear and kind way but it is not our job to manage how our boundaries make someone else feel. Does this sound easier said than done? Individual therapy is extremely helpful in breaking down the process of setting boundaries and understanding why this is so hard to implement in real life.

You can have healthy boundaries and I’m here to help you figure it out.
